Refund & Cancellation Policy
How cancellations, refunds, plan changes, AI credits and domains work for OpsIQ Cloud subscriptions and Self-Hosted licences. Try OpsIQ free first, cancel any time, and get a clear answer when you ask for your money back.
Try before you pay
A free plan and a no-card free trial let you evaluate OpsIQ fully before any charge.
14-day first-purchase refund
Not happy with your first paid plan or your first annual payment? Ask for a full refund within 14 days of the charge.
Cancel anytime
Cancelling stops future renewals. You keep access until the period you paid for ends.
Errors made right
Duplicate charges or billing mistakes are refunded in full to your original payment method.
The short version: start on the free plan or a no-card trial, so you can be sure before you pay. Cancel any time and keep access to the end of the period you paid for. Your first paid plan, and a first annual payment, can be refunded in full within 14 days. Unused AI token packs can be refunded within 14 days. Billing mistakes are always put right.
1Overview
This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how cancellations, plan changes and refunds work for OpsIQ. It is part of the OpsIQ Terms of Service and covers OpsIQ Cloud subscriptions, Self-Hosted licences, add-ons, AI token packs and domains bought from Nabtech Digitalnet Limited (“Nabtech”, “we”, “us”), the company behind OpsIQ.
This version takes effect on November 1, 2026. A purchase is governed by the version in force on the day it was made.
If you signed a separate order form or enterprise agreement, its refund terms apply where they differ from this policy. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be waived.
2Free plan and free trial
- The free plan is free for as long as you use it.
- Every paid plan starts with a 30-day free trial. No payment card is needed to start, and you are never charged during the trial.
- Your first invoice is sent 7 days before the trial ends. The plan continues only when that invoice is paid, by you or by a saved card you chose for automatic payment.
- If the invoice is still unpaid when the trial ends, the service is paused (suspended): nothing is deleted, and paying the invoice turns it back on.
- You can cancel at any time during the trial in Account → Billing and you will not be charged.
3Monthly plans
Monthly plans renew automatically every month until you cancel. We email each renewal invoice 7 days before it is due. When you cancel, the plan stays active until the end of the month you already paid for and is not renewed. We do not refund part of a month, except under the first-purchase refund or for a billing error.
4Annual plans
- First annual payment: if you ask within 14 days of the charge (a new annual plan, or a switch from monthly to annual), we refund it in full.
- After 14 days: annual fees are not refunded for the unused part of the year, with two exceptions: a billing error, or if we end the service or materially reduce what you bought, in which case we refund the full unused months.
- Renewals: annual renewals are not refundable. We email the renewal invoice 7 days before every renewal so you can cancel in time.
- When you cancel an annual plan, it stays active until the end of the year you paid for.
5First-purchase refund (14 days)
If OpsIQ is not right for you, ask for a full refund of your first paid subscription fee within 14 days of that first charge. This applies once per customer, to the first paid plan only, not to renewals or later purchases.
It does not cover AI credits already used, domains, activated Self-Hosted licences or setup work already delivered (see the sections below). It is not available where an account was closed for breaking the Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy.
| Item | Refundable? | When |
|---|---|---|
| First paid subscription (monthly or annual) | Yes | Within 14 days of the first charge |
| Later monthly payments | No | Cancel to stop the next one |
| Annual renewal | No | Renewal invoice is emailed 7 days before |
| Add-on (first purchase) | Yes | Within 14 days of the first charge |
| AI token pack, no credit used | Yes | Within 14 days of purchase |
| AI token pack, any credit used | No | |
| Domain registration, renewal or transfer | No | Once sent to the registry |
| Self-Hosted licence | Only if not activated | Within 14 days of purchase |
| Duplicate or wrong charge | Yes, in full | Any time your payment provider allows |
6Upgrades, downgrades and billing cycle changes
- Upgrade: you pay the prorated difference for the rest of the current period, and the new plan starts straight away.
- Downgrade or change of billing cycle: the unused value of what you already paid becomes account credit, used automatically on your next invoices. It is not refunded in cash.
- You see the exact amount before you confirm a change in Account → Billing.
7Cancelling
- Cancel any time in Account → Billing. By default the cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you paid for, and you keep access until then.
- You can choose to cancel immediately instead. Access ends at once and the unused part of the period is not refunded.
- Cancelling and refunds are separate: if you think you are owed a refund, ask us (see How to ask for a refund).
- Export your data before access ends. Data is kept and deleted as described in the Terms and Privacy Policy.
8Add-ons, AI credits and token packs
- Add-ons (for example HR, Site Intelligence or storage): cancel any time, access continues to the end of the period, no refunds for part of a period. The 14-day first-purchase refund applies to the first purchase of each add-on.
- AI token packs: credits never expire. A pack with no credit used can be refunded in full within 14 days of purchase; the pack’s credits are removed when we refund it. Once any credit from a pack has been used, the pack cannot be refunded. Packs are refunded whole, never in part.
- AI usage already consumed is never refunded, because the AI provider has already charged for it.
- Wallet balances pay your OpsIQ invoices and AI usage; they are not paid out in cash.
- Setup, migration or custom work already delivered is not refundable.
9Domains
- Domain registrations, renewals and transfers are not refundable once we have sent them to the domain registry, because the registry charges us immediately.
- If the registry refuses a registration after you paid (for example, someone else registered the name first), the full amount is returned to your account credit automatically. Ask us if you would prefer it on your card.
10Self-Hosted licences
A Self-Hosted licence is delivered when its key is issued. You can ask for a full refund within 14 days of purchase if the licence has not been activated. Once it has been activated on a server, it is not refundable, except where consumer law gives you a right that cannot be waived. Talk to us before you buy if you are unsure.
11Billing errors and duplicate charges
If you were charged in error, charged twice, or billed after a valid cancellation, we refund the wrong amount in full to the original payment method, for as long as your payment provider allows refunds. Email [email protected].
12Unpaid invoices
If a renewal invoice is not paid by its due date, your Cloud workspace or Self-Hosted licence is paused until it is paid. Nothing is deleted while the invoice can still be paid, and paying it turns the service back on. Data is only deleted after the notice described in the Terms.
13Chargebacks
Most billing problems are fixed quickly by email, so please contact us before you dispute a charge with your bank or card issuer. While a chargeback is open we may pause the account. If the dispute is decided in your favour, we close the matter. If a chargeback is fraudulent, we may close the account.
14How to ask for a refund
- Email [email protected] from your account email address, or open a ticket in Account → Support.
- Include your workspace name and the invoice number, and tell us briefly why.
- We reply within 2 business days and decide within 5 business days.
- Approved refunds go back to the original payment method, or to your account credit if you prefer. Card and bank refunds usually arrive within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank and payment provider.
- Refunds are made in the currency you paid.
15Your legal rights
Some consumers have rights that a contract cannot remove, for example a 14-day cooling-off period for distance purchases in the EU and UK. Where you asked us to start a digital service straight away, that right may end once the service begins, as the law allows. Where the law gives you more than this policy, the law applies.
16Taxes and price changes
Refunds include any tax we are able to recover. Prices may change; we tell you before a new price applies to your renewal, so you can cancel first.
17Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The version and effective date at the top always change together, and we tell account owners about material changes before they take effect. The version in force on the day of a purchase governs that purchase.
